JTSwift Rentals – Rental Policies & Terms 1.) No Smoking / No Odor Policy Can I smoke in a rental car? No. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all JTSwift Rentals vehicles. Our entire fleet is 100% smoke-free to ensure every customer receives a clean, fresh, and comfortable vehicle. If any evidence of smoking or strong odor is detected—whether during or after your rental—a cleaning fee will be applied. Why does JTSwift Rentals enforce a no-smoking / no-odor policy? Smoke and strong odors cling to vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, headliners, and ventilation systems. Removing these odors requires deep cleaning and specialized treatments, which can remove the vehicle from service and affect availability for other customers. To maintain our premium standards and protect the experience of every renter, we strictly enforce an odor-free policy. What counts as a violation? A violation includes, but is not limited to, the presence of: Cigarette or cigar smoke Marijuana odor Vape or e-cigarette odors Burning scents (incense, matches, lighters) Strong or lingering smells such as excessive cologne, alcohol, or other odors If a vehicle is returned with any noticeable odor, additional charges may apply. 2.) Cleaning fees: Standard cleaning fee: up to USD $250 Severe odor or smoke contamination (including deep cleaning and lost rental time): up to USD $450 3.) Driver Eligibility Requirements To rent a vehicle from JTSwift Rentals, all drivers must meet the following requirements: Be 23 years of age or older Hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of two (2) years Present a valid, non-expired driver’s license at the time of rental Failure to meet these requirements may result in denial of the rental without refund. 4.) Fuel Deposit & Return Policy A fuel deposit equivalent to a full tank of fuel is collected at the start of the rental. Return the vehicle with a full tank to receive a full fuel deposit refund. Vehicles returned with less than a full tank will be refueled and charged at a rate higher than the local retail pump price, which includes fuel and service fees. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as when collected. No credit or refund will be issued for fuel returned in excess of the original level provided.
